The 4 O’Chocolate Wildland Firefighter Project is a new organization building its work in direct conversation with wildland firefighters, families, subject-matter experts, and community partners.
Our emerging work includes:
Supporting immediate and mental-health needs
Helping families and communities honor fallen firefighters
Expanding access to education, training, and opportunity
Supporting firefighter-informed research and innovation
Exploring federal and local policy pathways that can improve wildland firefighter support and safety
We are listening carefully, building responsible partnerships, and focusing our resources where they can create meaningful and lasting impact.
