Honor Support Innovate

We honor our fallen, provide support to the wildland fire community, and work to bring more wildland firefighters home safely.

4 O’Chocolate Wildland Firefighter Project turns remembrance into action. Through direct support, education and training, research, technology, and advocacy, we invest in the people who protect our communities and wild places — today and for the future.

About Us

What began as a simple 4:00 PM chocolate break started by Rifle Helitack Squad Leader Emily Barker became a tradition of pausing, connecting, and showing up for one another. That spirit now guides the 4 O’Chocolate Wildland Firefighter Project.
